- Drafting joint appeals or response plans
- Experience with UN agencies or partners
- ER-Inter-Agency Coordination Mechanisms skills
- Experience in refugee or emergency settings
- Experience with UN, NGO, and local partners
- Understanding of NGO role in protection
- Strong broad management skills
- Strategic thinking and organizational awareness
- Excellent outreach and networking skills
- Excellent representational and diplomatic skills
- Strong English language drafting skills
- Demonstrated team leadership skills
Aufgaben
- Advise senior management on inter-agency positioning
- Draft briefing notes and talking points
- Promote UNHCR policies within multilateral processes
- Establish and maintain effective coordination mechanisms
- Develop joint appeals and response plans
- Engage with NGOs and civil society actors
- Monitor humanitarian architecture and reform initiatives
- Maintain formal and informal partner contacts
- Coordinate regional contingency planning and preparedness
- Negotiate joint agreements and work programmes
- Circulate situational analysis to key stakeholders
- Support localization and refugee-led organization engagement
- Organize regional capacity building and NGO consultations
- Identify and manage operational risks
- Compile inputs for annual global reports
- Conduct field support missions as required
