Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- 7–10+ years progressive experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, or operations
- Global or regional scope experience
- Experience defining inventory strategies
- Experience influencing outcomes in complex, multi-site environments
- Strong expertise in inventory planning concepts
- Advanced analytical skills
- Experience with large data sets
- Quantitative modeling experience
- Proficiency with planning systems (SAP, o9, Blue Yonder, or similar)
- Proficiency with data tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python preferred)
- Ability to lead through influence in matrixed, global organizations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to translate complex analytics into clear business insights
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Experience driving alignment across functions
Aufgaben
- Define and continuously improve global inventory strategy
- Lead enterprise-wide inventory planning frameworks, policies, and analytics
- Drive optimal inventory outcomes across all zones and business units
- Translate business strategy into scalable inventory models
- Establish global inventory standards
- Enable data-driven inventory decision-making
- Define and maintain global inventory strategy aligned with business objectives
- Develop inventory segmentation, target-setting, and stocking strategies
- Establish global inventory policies, governance, and performance standards
- Lead the design and deployment of inventory planning models
- Optimize inventory positioning across the network
- Partner with planning teams to improve forecast-to-inventory integration
- Define global inventory KPIs
- Analyze inventory drivers and root causes
- Identify actions to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory
- Develop dashboards and executive-level metrics
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to inventory teams
- Collaborate with Finance on working capital planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Influence senior stakeholders to adopt common standards and best practices
- Support supply chain transformation initiatives and system implementations
- Support advanced analytics adoption
- Evaluate and integrate new inventory planning tools and technologies
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory effectiveness and resilience
