You will protect lives by managing explosive hazards and coordinating complex disposal operations. Your day-to-day involves everything from field-based ordnance removal to mentoring national partners.

Anforderungen

• •Master's degree with 5 years' experience or Bachelor's with 7-11 years' experience
• •Minimum EOD Level 3 qualification
• •Basic CBRN reconnaissance level training
• •At least 6 years professional experience
• •Minimum 3 years weapon contamination experience
• •Experienced and successful EOD operator
• •Knowledge of CBRN operations
• •Computer literacy
• •Ability to work in multicultural environments
• •Ability to train and mentor partners
• •History of publications as an asset
• •Fluency in English (C1 or above)
• •Fluency in French as an advantage
• •Arabic or Russian as an asset
• •Good health and medical check-up
• •Driving license for manual transmission vehicles
• •Willingness to accept unaccompanied postings

Aufgaben

• •Assess weapon contamination hazards and risks
• •Conduct surveys and manage operational data
• •Plan and prioritize ordnance removal activities
• •Perform the removal of explosive ordnance
• •Develop and maintain standing operating procedures
• •Coordinate activities with emergency relief efforts
• •Analyze and report on post-strike scenes
• •Train and mentor national mine action organizations
• •Build relationships with authorities and UN agencies
• •Supervise program and support staff
• •Define annual objectives and priorities
• •Manage and implement the program budget
