In this role, you will work closely with internal teams to develop innovative terminal solutions that enhance safety, productivity, and efficiency. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assessing investment opportunities, managing testing processes, and ensuring compliance with the latest design standards.

Anforderungen

• •Degree in logistics or supply chain management
• •Design and planning of port infrastructure and terminal capacity
• •Knowledge of available technology and proven solutions
• •7+ years of experience in container terminal operations management
• •Experience with simulation modelling of business processes
• •Understanding of design criteria based on geographical location and trade type
• •Proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
• •Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• •Ability to communicate and present effectively
• •Capability to convey expert subjects to non-experts
• •Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
• •Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; understanding of AutoCAD advantageous
• •Right to work in Switzerland

Aufgaben

• •Collaborate with internal customers to understand their needs
• •Develop terminal solutions that meet targets for volume, capacity, safety, productivity, and emissions
• •Quantify resources and assess cost-effectiveness of terminal solutions
• •Manage testing of terminal solutions through static and dynamic simulation analyses
• •Assess investment opportunities and conduct due diligence investigations
• •Review expansion proposals and operational optimization programs for existing terminals
• •Develop design standards for future-proof solutions that comply with health, safety, and efficiency standards
• •Create and maintain tools and protocols for standardized delivery of terminal solutions
