Director, Regional HRBP, Europe(m/w/x)
Building HR infrastructure and processes in European biotech markets. Deep knowledge of EU labor law and operational HR capability required. Direct HR support for regional leadership.
Anforderungen
- Significant HR experience including HR Business Partner roles in Europe
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments preferred
- Experience in high-growth or startup settings, including building HR processes and structures, ideally
- Strong operational HR capability, willingness to execute directly
- Deep knowledge of European labor law and practices, strong hands-on expertise
- Experience working with works councils, unions, and CBAs
- Ability to operate in a matrixed, international organization
- Experience supporting multi-country populations across European markets
- Team player leading with high standards
- Execution-oriented, pragmatic, solution-focused approach
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments
- Sound judgment in employee relations and compliance matters
- High level of cultural awareness and adaptability
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally, as required
Aufgaben
- Contribute to building HR infrastructure in key European markets
- Implement and manage core HR processes
- Ensure consistent and compliant HR operations
- Provide day-to-day HR support
- Partner with regional leadership to align people priorities
- Support organizational design and workforce planning
- Guide managers on performance management and team effectiveness
- Build management capability in a scaling organization
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations
- Provide deep labor law expertise in European markets
- Manage employee relations cases and investigations
- Liaise with external legal counsel and local advisors
- Support cohesive and scalable company culture
- Drive employee engagement activities
- Implement learning and development initiatives
- Promote consistent employee experience
- Partner with global and regional HR teams
- Provide regional input into global HR strategies
- Balance global consistency with local adaptation
- Ensure clear ownership and communication in European expansion
- Identify and resolve gaps across functions
- Establish core HR processes and policies
- Manage local labor law and CBAs with high confidence
- Serve as a trusted advisor for people-related decisions
- Deliver reliable day-to-day HR support
- Address issues in a timely and compliant manner
- Build a cohesive culture and positive employee experience
- Implement and adapt global HR programs to regional needs
- Design solutions to scale with organizational growth
