• •Shelter and settlement need assessments
• •Knowledge of UNHCR shelter standards
• •IT and computer literacy
• •Drafting and documentation skills
• •Essential AutoCAD for settlement planning
• •Fluency in English
• •Knowledge of French as advantage
• •Accountability and analytical thinking
• •Teamwork and collaboration skills
• •Flexibility and emergency-orientation

Aufgaben

• •Conduct comprehensive sectoral needs assessments
• •Liaise with protection and WASH sectors
• •Develop and update local shelter approaches
• •Design and monitor infrastructure construction projects
• •Oversee day-to-day construction site operations
• •Ensure compliance with UNHCR and national standards
• •Review and identify shelter programme gaps
• •Coordinate with government and NGO partners
• •Provide technical support to country operations
• •Draft technical specifications and bid documents
• •Evaluate technical bids for construction services
• •Populate shelter dashboards with operational data
• •Integrate climate and environmental protection considerations
• •Advise partners on sound technical shelter issues
• •Review technical components of partnership agreements
• •Support the Shelter Cluster and coordination meetings
• •Monitor school and health center construction
• •Identify and manage operational risks
