As a Workshop Technician in Interior Shop Finishing, you will focus on repairing and refinishing a variety of furniture and components, ensuring high-quality results while adhering to technical specifications and safety standards.

Anforderungen

• •General understanding of paint and varnish processes
• •Professional-level proficiency in spraying varnish
• •Experience repairing damaged veneer and performing stain applications
• •Ability to work on protected and delicate interior components
• •Ability to read and interpret 3D model files and 2D manufacturing drawings
• •Familiarity with aerospace VIP materials and handling techniques
• •Previous experience in the aviation industry
• •Strong knowledge of paint and varnish application processes and products
• •Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP
• •English proficiency: minimum B1 level (written and spoken)
• •Knowledge of German or French
• •Interest in a multicultural, challenging and innovative working environment

Aufgaben

• •Perform advanced repairs on furniture and components
• •Repaint and re-varnish interior items
• •Prepare surfaces for sanding and painting
• •Mask and apply filler to raw and varnished wood
• •Sand wood, veneer, and varnished surfaces
• •Apply stains and U.V. varnish to various components
• •Conduct repairs and polish to a professional standard
• •Assist in mixing and applying varnishes and paints
• •Operate and maintain spray booths and mixing areas
• •Use handheld power tools safely and efficiently
• •Maintain traceability of components and products
• •Follow Jet Aviation procedures and aviation regulations
• •Perform minor paint and varnish touch-ups
• •Report defects promptly
• •Adapt to new techniques and materials
• •Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• •Follow safety and environmental regulations
• •Support continuous improvement initiatives
• •Take responsibility for quality and timely work
