- Minimum 12+ years relevant experience in private banking or wealth management, ideally with cross-border advisory exposure
- Proven track record leading investment advisory teams, preferably in global or multi-jurisdictional setting
- Deep understanding of LATAM & Iberic cultural nuances and business practices, existing familiarity with major wealth centres in LATAM & Iberia
- Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish; Portuguese fluency strongly preferred
- Full professional command of English (written and spoken); German is an asset but not required
- Expertise across all major asset classes (equities, bonds, alternatives, hedge funds, private markets, structured products)
- Strong grasp of taxation principles (Swiss and international), estate planning considerations, anti-money laundering regulations
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously at executive level, exercising sound judgment under pressure
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, able to translate complexity into clarity for diverse audiences
- Technically adept with Bloomberg, Microsoft Office Suite, capable to quickly manage internal tools
- Natural leader who inspires trust and develops others with patience and fairness
- Diplomatic and discreet, with high sense of ethics and responsibility
- Curious mind with enduring passion for global markets and lifelong learning

- Promote collaboration and continuous learning
- Define and monitor performance targets
- Implement structured feedback mechanisms
- Collaborate on recruitment and succession planning
- Advocate for team resources and training
- Serve as lead advisor for top-tier clients
- Craft tax-efficient investment strategies
- Conduct portfolio diagnostics and asset allocation reviews
- Integrate macroeconomic and political insights
- Generate thematic investment ideas
- Ensure MiFID II compliance
- Deliver insightful client presentations
- Co-lead client meetings and consultations
- Travel to key LATAM & Iberia hubs
- Coordinate with local coverage teams
- Share market commentary and insights
- Liaise with Research and regional desks
- Contribute to client journey improvements
- Oversee trade execution and transaction management
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Work with Operations, Compliance, and Legal
- Implement standardised operating procedures
