- Develop comprehensive test plans in Agile/Scrum environments
- Analyze and resolve technical issues, anticipate risks
- Escalate issues to management in a timely manner
- Provide test solutions for functional and non-functional software quality
- Lead test effort estimation, planning, and risk analysis
- Manage resources, testing schedules, and quality expectations
- Develop manual and automation test strategies
- Create manual and automation procedure documentation
- Design and develop test platforms for complex products
- Mentor and train less experienced engineers
- Participate in software technical design reviews
- Optimize and maintain best test processes and practices
- Liaise between junior and senior engineers
- Ensure quality assurance activities throughout the software life cycle
- Document test results per the Quality Management System
