- Specify system software security architectures
- Design security implementations
- Review security architectures and implementations
- Conduct threat analysis for security systems
- Perform risk assessments for security systems
- Manage security requirements and link them to functional requirements
- Incorporate innovative security mechanisms into system software architecture
- Perform root cause analysis of security defects
- Develop countermeasures for security defects
- Serve as the technical interface to customers and evaluation labs
- Collaborate with product development teams
