- Fluent English and German skills
- Valid Germany or EU work permit
- Background in electronics or FPGA programming
- Startup or research environment experience
- Experience with funding or R&D projects
Aufgaben
- Lead and support a growing team of engineers
- Work closely with neutral-atom quantum computer hardware development
- Ensure personal growth and technical excellence of team members
- Drive development of the control system software stack
- Align technical execution with company strategy and product priorities
- Foster a healthy, diverse, and collaborative engineering culture
- Run regular 1:1s, mentoring, and career development conversations
- Provide performance feedback and conduct evaluations
- Hire, onboard, and retain top engineering talent
- Drive execution through planning, prioritization, and delivery monitoring
- Align team goals with company and product priorities
- Ensure engineering quality standards for testing, reviews, and documentation
- Facilitate design discussions and guide technical decisions
- Coordinate dependencies with hardware and software teams
- Proactively identify and remove blockers
- Communicate progress, risks, and needs to senior leadership
- Support preparation and submission of project and funding applications
