- Strong background in requirements management and tracing
- Experience mentoring junior staff and leading small technical teams
- Logical and pragmatic problem-solving skills
- Professional spoken and written English proficiency
- Familiarity with ESA/ESOC SIMULUS suite and SIMSAT runtime kernel
- Experience with modern CI/CD tools (Maven, GitLab, Nexus, SonarQube)
- Knowledge of Space Engineering Standards (ECSS-E-ST-40) and Packet Utilisation Standard (ECSS-E-70)
- Background in GNSS/Navigation field or satellite AIV
- Understanding of spacecraft databases (SCOS MIB or EGS-CC CDM)
- EU or ESA member state citizenship
Aufgaben
- Design and develop C++ models for satellite subsystems
- Maintain high-performance software environments
- Translate hardware documentation into software solutions
- Coordinate design, development, and maintenance of C++ code
- Translate spacecraft documentation into software models
- Lead software life cycle from design to maintenance
- Oversee junior engineers and manage task distribution
- Participate in project milestones and technical reviews
- Track Review Items for Discrepancies (RIDs)
- Ensure simulators meet performance demands
- Liaise with ESA technical leads on software delivery
