As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will focus on enhancing automation and deployment processes while ensuring the reliability and availability of backend services. This role involves supporting customers, automating infrastructure, and contributing to open source projects.

Anforderungen

  • •5+ years in Networking / SRE / Platform Engineering
  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  • •5+ years of professional experience in Operations, Networking, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
  • •Proven track record of managing Deployments on Kubernetes platforms using Infrastructure as Code
  • •Passion for building, documenting, and debugging distributed and scalable systems
  • •Strong Linux background with OS-level and networking troubleshooting skills
  • •On-premise deployment / operations experience
  • •Experience in automating containerized builds and deployments
  • •Strong programming skills in Haskell, Rust, C, Java, or Go
  • •Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Nix, Ansible, or Systemd
  • •Experience with Docker, KVM, or LXC
  • •Experience configuring networking devices from multiple manufacturers
  • •Proven track record with Open Source / Free Software communities
  • •Experience managing observability and monitoring with Prometheus, Loki, or Grafana
  • •Experience debugging network issues using packet capture tools
  • •Solid understanding of modern software-development lifecycle methodologies
  • •Experience managing Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Redis, Postgres, or RabbitMQ is a plus
  • •Interest in statically-typed functional programming languages is a plus
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills with effective collaboration
  • •Fluency in English; fluency in German and/or French is a valued additional qualification

  • •Ensure 24/7 service availability for customers
  • •Contribute to open source code and upstream projects
