Anforderungen

  • •Background in control engineering, mathematics, robotics or computer science
  • •Strong skills in linear algebra and optimisation
  • •Ability to assimilate information across broad domains
  • •Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • •Advantageous knowledge of automated software testing
  • •Strong mathematical skills in kinematics and optimisation
  • •Good knowledge of Python
  • •Initial experience with C++
  • •Advantageous experience of Gitlab CI

  • •National of CERN Member or Associate State
  • •Maximum two years of professional experience
  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field
  • •No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract
  • •Mandatory University degree
  • •No PhD qualification

  • •Develop a kinematic simulation for magnets and beam elements
  • •Create and maintain a simulation-based test suite
  • •Support continuous integration and virtual commissioning of control software

  • •Build database-driven engineering tools for system configuration
