- At least 3 years' experience in test system design and lab management for embedded systems
- Practical experience in software and system testing for embedded systems
- Hands-on expertise with HIL systems and automated test environments
- Strong Python skills for test automation; familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN)
- Experience in safety-critical testing (e.g., automotive, aerospace, machinery) is highly desirable
- ISTQB certification is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a quality-first mindset and attention to detail
- Reliability and teamwork skills with an independent working style
- Strong communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus
Aufgaben
- Lead the design and management of test infrastructure for off-highway products
- Define test concepts, processes, and tools for implementation and automation
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Design and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems
- Implement health checks, calibration, and preventive maintenance for test infrastructure
- Coordinate the build-up and continuous improvement of new test systems
- Develop and maintain test frameworks, such as pytest
- Drive automation enhancements in testing processes
- Act as the interface between Test and Development teams
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring for test engineers
- Review test cases and enforce best practices for reusability and quality
- Support debugging activities and serve as the primary contact for testers
- Drive continuous improvement in test methodologies and CI/CD integration
