  • Knowledge of data handling (SAS, SQL, databricks, etc. of advantage)
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of an organization

Aufgaben

  • Perform reserve modelling in different regimes
  • Support diverse Actuarial Function tasks
  • Analyze actuarial outcomes for UNIQA Austria
  • Share key developments with stakeholders
  • Guide junior team members on complex tasks
  • Improve process efficiency
  • Contribute to Group solutions and standards
  • Calculate Best Estimates Reserves / LIC
  • Perform Cashflow modelling (LIC & LRC for GMM portfolio)
  • Conduct back-testing for IFRS 17
  • Parameterize the Internal Model for Solvency 2
  • Calculate Technical Provisions in Economic Balance Sheet
  • Calculate IBNR Reserves including back-testing for Local GAAP (UGB)
  • Make modelling decisions
  • Provide input to strategic decisions
  • Connect with Product Development departments for insights
  • Participate in the IFRS planning process
  • Monitor actual vs. expected numbers
  • Communicate and interpret results to management and stakeholders
  • Implement new regulatory requirements and Group Standards
  • Provide feedback on Group methodology, process, and tool developments
  • Support and validate colleagues in closing processes (UGB, S2, IFRS 17)
  • Transfer know-how and best practices within the Group
  • Conduct training within the Group
  • Lead AT and Group projects
  • Collaborate on AT and Group projects
  • Support ad-hoc balance and risk topics
  • Respond to requests from regulators and auditors
  • Further develop existing tools and templates (Excel, VBA, SAS, R, Python, databricks)
