Anforderungen
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong understanding of low-level system behavior
- Solid C programming experience
- Familiarity with ARM and/or RISC-V architectures
- Experience with assembly-level debugging and analysis
- Experience with vulnerability research, reverse engineering, or exploit development
- Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis tools, fuzzing, or symbolic execution
- Understanding of common vulnerability classes
- Experience with debugging interfaces (e.g., JTAG, trace, GDB)
- Experience using or evaluating AI-assisted code analysis tools
- Experience using or evaluating AI-assisted vulnerability discovery tools
- Experience building or integrating automated analysis workflows
- Rust experience or interest in memory-safe design
- Strong analytical thinking and curiosity
- Ability to work independently and drive investigations
- Interest in combining deep technical analysis with AI techniques
- Clear communication of technical findings and risks
- Collaborative mindset
Aufgaben
- Analyze low-level firmware and boot code
- Identify vulnerabilities in embedded systems
- Work with development teams to drive secure designs
- Leverage modern analysis approaches, including AI-assisted techniques
- Perform in-depth vulnerability analysis of embedded software
- Analyze boot flows and security-critical components
- Conduct root cause analysis of identified weaknesses
- Assess exploitability and impact of vulnerabilities
- Support security certifications and evaluations
- Analyze PSIRT incidents and derive improvements
- Develop and apply analysis methodologies and tooling
- Apply AI-assisted techniques for code analysis
- Design workflows combining traditional and AI-assisted analysis
- Research emerging attack techniques for embedded systems
- Collaborate with teams to translate findings into mitigations
- Ensure reliable and conscious work for security tasks
