- 8+ years professional software engineering experience
- Track record of shipping production systems
- Strong Python and backend system design
- Hands-on experience building production LLM systems
- Deep experience with agent-based architectures
- Experience with LangGraph, Deep Agents, or equivalents
- Experience with multi-step reasoning, tool use, sub-agent orchestration
- Experience with state and streaming in agentic systems
- Strong working knowledge of retrieval and context construction
- Good judgement using RAG, embeddings, chunking, ranking
- Solid track record evaluating and debugging AI systems
- Experience with structured evals, regression tests, tracing, observability
- Experience with LangSmith or similar observability tools
- Familiarity with emerging agent orchestration standards
- Experience with vector databases and hybrid retrieval
- Clear understanding of LLM failure modes
- Knowledge of mitigating prompt injection, content safety, context leakage
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems
- Strong fundamentals in API design
- Strong fundamentals in cloud-native architectures on AWS
- Confident with PostgreSQL
- Confident with Redis
- Confident with Docker
- Confident with modern CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with GitHub Actions

Aufgaben
- Design and build customer-facing AI features
- Operate AI features from conversational experiences to intelligent automation
- Architect agent-based systems for multi-step reasoning and tool execution
- Orchestrate sub-agent state management and streaming
- Develop structured outputs and persistent memory
- Implement human-in-the-loop approval flows
- Decide on system grounding, retrieval, and context construction
- Select appropriate patterns for each problem and defend choices
- Treat prompt and context engineering as core engineering tasks
- Own AI quality by building evaluation datasets and regression tests
- Develop debugging discipline for model outputs, retrieval, and tool calls
- Ensure AI production readiness with observability and tracing
- Optimize AI for reliability, cost, and latency
- Implement safety controls against hallucination, prompt injection, and context leakage
- Explain trade-offs between accuracy, latency, cost, and safety
- Partner with Product Trio to shape product direction
- Convert ambiguous product ideas into concrete technical designs
- Influence product roadmap with technological possibilities
- Mentor engineers and contribute to design reviews
- Raise hiring standards and production-ready AI practices
