As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing financial activities in Germany and Switzerland, ensuring compliance with GAAP while leading month-end closes, preparing reports, and supporting audits. Your expertise will help streamline processes and provide valuable insights into the financial health of the company.

Anforderungen

• •Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• •5 years experience in similar roles
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• •Excellent analytical skills
• •Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
• •Self-motivation and high level of initiative
• •Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• •Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerBI
• •Fluency in English and German, French or other EU language is a plus

Aufgaben

• •Provide accounting support and analysis for Corporate, German, and Swiss GAAP
• •Lead day-to-day accounting activities and month-end close
• •Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts
• •Prepare journal vouchers
• •Deliver timely and accurate management reporting
• •Create journal entries
• •Report on balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow
• •Manage annual accounts and audit processes
• •Prepare quarterly and yearly VAT submissions
• •Coordinate year-end closing activities
• •Perform regular bank reconciliations
• •Control accounts receivable and accounts payable
• •Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records
• •Collaborate with local service providers for tax and reporting requirements
• •Research tax and regulatory issues as needed
• •Support government relations related to filings and corporate matters
• •Develop cash flow management strategies
• •Assist with the budget process
• •Identify and propose accounting solutions for unusual business transactions
• •Ensure day-to-day accounting aligns with corporate policies and GAAP
• •Support audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• •Assist with ERP rollout for financial modules
• •Contribute to ad hoc projects as assigned
