Anforderungen

  • •Strong interest in sociology of emotions and political sociology
  • •Strong interest in research on loneliness and politics of emotions
  • •PhD in sociology or related disciplines
  • •Outstanding dissertation
  • •Proficiency in social science qualitative research methods
  • •Keen interest in advanced skills in discourse analysis and social network analysis
  • •Experience with scientific writing and presenting
  • •Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • •Proficiency in an additional foreign language (Italian, Dutch) is an asset
  • •Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
  • •Research competence and initiative proven through international publications
  • •Experience in research management
  • •Team player and high social/communicative skills

Ausbildung

Doktor / Ph.D.

Berufserfahrung

ca. 1 - 4 Jahre

Aufgaben

  • •Build an independent research profile in political sociology and emotion research
  • •Plan and execute empirical research for the ERC project
  • •Engage in research projects on radicalization, social isolation, and loneliness
  • •Publish research findings internationally
  • •Deliver lectures on relevant topics
  • •Apply for theme-related projects and secure additional funding
  • •Mentor students and junior members of the LONERS project
  • •Participate in evaluation measures and quality assurance
  • •Develop personal research interests within political sociology
  • •Attend national and international conferences and project meetings
  • •Write scientific publications
  • •Conduct literature reviews and refine analytical schemes related to emotions
  • •Support the coordinator in report preparation and social impact activities
  • •Collaborate with the Faculty of Social Sciences and the research team of Anna Durnova
