- Experience assembling or integrating electronics
- Practical experience with drones, UAVs, or autonomous systems
- Strong spatial reasoning, creativity, problem-solving ability
- Ability to work fast and independently in ambiguous environments
- Experience with ArduPilot, PX4, or comparable flight-control systems
- Experience building, modifying, or operating drones
- Familiarity with maritime systems, marine operations, or hydrodynamics
- Background in marine engineering, boating, underwater systems, autonomous maritime vehicles
- Experience with rapid manufacturing methods (3D printing, CNC, composites)
- Builds things outside of work (modifies drones, works on vehicles, assembles electronics, technical projects)
- Enjoys experimentation and shaping future of autonomous aerial and maritime systems
Aufgaben
- Develop prototypes for next-generation drones and autonomous systems
- Design and integrate mechanical and electronic components
- Rapidly iterate from idea to prototype to field testing
- Solve complex mechanical challenges with lightweight, robust designs
- Support integration of sensors and subsystems into prototypes
