As a core member of the Environmental Psychology Group, you will conduct original research on disaster response while teaching students and collaborating on international projects.

Anforderungen

• •Undergraduate degree in psychology
• •Completed or near-completed relevant master's degree
• •Interest in environmental psychology
• •Preferably evidence of teaching experience
• •Preferably experience in academic writing
• •Well-developed statistical software skills
• •Competences in quantitative research methods
• •Motivation to enlarge research skills
• •Excellent command of English
• •Preferably good knowledge of German
• •Endorsement of open science practices
• •Communication and teamwork skills
• •Commitment and autonomous working style
• •Attention to detail and flexibility

Aufgaben

• •Review literature and theoretical backgrounds
• •Analyze existing secondary survey datasets
• •Develop and collect original survey data
• •Implement experimental studies on communication interventions
• •Write scientific papers for peer review
• •Present findings at national and international conferences
• •Travel to field sites with disaster task forces
• •Collaborate with international research partners
• •Support the drafting of grant proposals
• •Teach environmental psychology to undergraduate and Master's students
• •Supervise students and their research projects
• •Contribute to weekly group meetings and administrative duties
• •Complete the university PhD training program
• •Represent the group through scientific and public outreach
