  • High-level communication in English and German
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or several years' experience as OT Engineer
  • Sound knowledge and several years' experience in OT & SCADA systems
  • Desirable experience in network operations
  • Thorough understanding of safe work practices and regulations
  • Strong desire for facility reliability and availability
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays
  • Proven troubleshooting and fault isolation skills
  • Practical experience with SCADA and automation development
  • Ability to install, troubleshoot, maintain generation facility equipment
  • Logical understanding of OT environments
  • Experience in Critical Infrastructure regulated environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and maintenance management software
  • Very good written and spoken German and English knowledge
  • Participation in on-call rotation
  • Travel in northern Germany and offshore work

Aufgaben

  • Engage and support offshore technicians and operations departments
  • Liaise with OT, IT, marine coordination, and operational teams
  • Liaise with OEMs and grid operators
  • Report system status, risks, and improvements to management
  • Monitor service status
  • Coordinate maintenance, updates, upgrades, and replacements
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults independently
  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and third parties
  • Conduct root cause analyses for SCADA and OT failures
  • Propose technical solutions
  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot offshore data centers
  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot PLCs and control systems
  • Conduct daily system health checks
  • Troubleshoot outages and document resolutions
  • Standardize, monitor, and improve predictive and preventative maintenance
  • Create, update, and maintain system and process documentation
  • Maintain accurate asset records and documentation
  • Support audits and lifecycle management
  • Implement changes and projects following internal standards
  • Assist in creating work scopes and bid packages
  • Oversee plant outages
  • Interact with contractors to ensure scheduled project completion
  • Develop project schedules with operations and maintenance departments
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers
  • Maintain awareness of vendor documentation systems
  • Maintain awareness of OEM processes
  • Adhere to ITIL, ISMS, and ISO 27001 standards
  • Uphold health and safety on windfarm and office sites
  • Comply with offshore energy legislation and grid codes
  • Comply with environmental requirements
  • Adhere to IT/OT security policies and ISMS protocols
  • Ensure compliance with global and local standards
  • Install, configure, and maintain OT hardware and systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain OT networks
  • Support technological development and best practices for OT
  • Provide OT expertise to new projects
