- Experience in telecom/datacom product design life cycles
- Fluent in English language skills both written and spoken
- German and Chinese language skills a plus
- Understanding of multi-culture and global business practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read and understand hardware circuit schematics, CAD files, and IC data sheets
- Knowledge of FPGA, Microprocessors, optical components, and high-speed buses
- Experience with Optical test instruments
- Accomplished in VC++, C#, or C
- Knowledge of National Instruments software suite and SQL database
- Understanding of DFM, DFT, and manufacturing processes
- Experience in high volume manufacturing test design and structural testing
Aufgaben
- Architect test concepts for WDM telecom devices
- Design and document test hardware and software
- Support existing manufacturing test solutions
- Develop complex algorithms for calibrating optical devices
- Define necessary test processes with R&D
- Develop test steps, drivers, and sequences for automation
- Ensure test solutions meet design specifications
- Transfer test solutions into manufacturing with contract manufacturers
- Support implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Drive continuous improvements for higher quality and lower test costs
