Anforderungen
- English or German language (CEFR B1 level)
- Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Machine Design, Aeronautical, Manufacturing)
- Passion for Additive Manufacturing design and manufacturing
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (Ansys Workbench preferred)
- Experience in fatigue crack growth and structural FCG codes
Aufgaben
- Review specimen test programs for fatigue crack growth simulation candidates
- Set up finite element models for simulation
- Perform structural fatigue crack growth simulations on specimens
- Perform structural fatigue crack growth simulations on sub-elements
- Perform structural fatigue crack growth simulations on components
- Validate simulation predictions against test results
- Adjust model parameters based on validation
- Support and influence research on lattice structures
