Anforderungen

• •BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related major or equivalent experience
• •7+ years experience in an operations environment and leading employees
• •3+ years management experience
• •Experience with vendor contract negotiating
• •Results oriented with a strong focus on the customer
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• •Keen attention to detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks
• •Ability to anticipate how a decision affects customers, partners, products or departments
• •Demonstration of innovation and initiative
• •Ability to travel
• •Fluency in English and German, other language skills are a great plus

Aufgaben

• •Develop and implement transportation strategies for the EMEA region
• •Manage inbound and outbound transportation operations
• •Achieve or exceed KPIs for delivery requirements and customer demand
• •Oversee transportation budget and operational costs
• •Support the development of a world-class transportation model
• •Champion operational updates with EMEA carriers and parcel services
• •Integrate supply chain network for seamless customer service
• •Design and manage a strong transportation claims process
• •Ensure efficient product flow from suppliers to customers
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service and identify cost savings
• •Introduce new strategic transportation routing options
• •Implement cross-functional process improvements
• •Manage special programs for footwear and apparel
• •Adapt global transportation policies to the EMEA network
• •Establish and maintain relationships with EMEA carriers and vendors
• •Negotiate transportation lead times and service agreements
• •Perform quarterly business reviews with service providers
• •Create and maintain logistics standard operating procedures
• •Analyze transportation data and recommend cost reduction strategies
• •Maintain benchmarking reports for performance metrics
• •Lead and train team members for high-quality execution
• •Guide team through the 3PL bid process
