- Manage reefer cargo and non-cargo claims.
- Oversee major casualties in Black Sea, Middle East, Far East, and Oceania.
- Provide legal support to MSC Agencies.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures.
- Lead investigations into reefer cargo incidents.
- Assess incident liability and damage.
- Negotiate claim settlements with stakeholders.
- Manage cargo incidents to mitigate losses.
- Reduce costs from cargo incidents.
- Analyze incidents for loss prevention.
- Implement loss prevention strategies.
- Coordinate with external lawyers and experts.
- Liaise with insurers.
- Initiate recovery actions against liable third parties.
- Maintain claims databases and reporting tools.
- Update claims databases and reporting tools.
- Revise survey formats.
- Ensure documentation compliance.
- Collaborate with internal departments.
- Resolve recurring issues.
- Improve departmental processes.
