In this role, you will contribute to the DireQT project by designing and verifying digital circuits for quantum systems. Your work will involve collaboration with other developers, conducting research, and supporting project management efforts.

Anforderungen

• •Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• •Excellent programming skills in Python, Perl, Tcl, C/C++, and Java
• •Understanding of device trees and Linux kernel drivers
• •Ability to integrate a wide range of IP cores
• •Knowledge of working with SoCs to leverage FPGA fabric and processing system
• •Self-motivation and proactivity with a research-oriented approach
• •Excellent professional communication skills in English
• •Knowledge of German language is an advantage
• •Willingness to relocate to Villach, Austria

Aufgaben

• •Design digital circuits using FPGA technology and SoC
• •Select appropriate FPGA for projects
• •Develop circuit architecture and code logic in HDL
• •Verify design and functionality using simulation tools
• •Perform tests on physical FPGA boards
• •Create and maintain documentation for FPGA design
• •Code HDL for ASIC integration
• •Develop and partition digital system architecture
• •Collaborate with SW/HW developers for integrated systems
• •Support project acquisition and funding proposals
• •Conduct high-quality research with scientific rigor
• •Engage in scientific networking and visibility activities
