In this internship, you will engage in the strategic analysis of biofuel allocation in the marine and aviation sectors. This includes conducting literature reviews and data analysis while supporting decarbonization modeling and policy development.

Anforderungen

  • •Currently enrolled as a University student in energy systems, environmental engineering, economics, or related fields
  • •Strong analytical and data processing skills
  • •Strong organizational and communication skills
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • •Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • •Interest in renewable energy, transport decarbonization, and policy analysis
  • •Proficiency in English and/or French; knowledge of German is a plus

  • •Conduct a comprehensive literature review on biofuel production technologies
  • •Analyze data on biofuel availability, imports, and consumption for maritime and aviation sectors
  • •Support modeling and analysis of decarbonization scenarios
  • •Focus on strategic allocation of biofuels and alternative fuels in transport
  • •Evaluate the role of biofuels in energy transition pathways
  • •Identify trade-offs and synergies with other sectors
  • •Contribute to policy recommendations for sustainable fuel integration
  • •Develop a roadmap for hard-to-abate transport sectors
