Anforderungen
- Higher Technical Education Institute (HTL) graduation within last 2 years, no university degree started, or enrolled in bachelor's in Physics, Electronics Engineering, or similar
- Basic knowledge of microcontroller programming (e.g RaspberryPI Pico, STM32, Arduino, ESP32, or similar)
- Basic knowledge of PCB design (KiCad, Altium, or Eagle)
- Curiosity for analog circuits
- Analytical thinking and enthusiasm for innovative research
- Interest in multidisciplinary team work and collaboration
- Good verbal and written English and German skills
Aufgaben
- Design a PC-Interface for an existing analog TEC controller
- Analyze the existing analog TEC controller
- Identify components, signal paths, and PC interface options
- Select and integrate a suitable microcontroller
- Define the microcontroller's interface to the analog circuit
- Design a compact, reliable PCB combining µC and TEC controller
- Develop firmware for control and PC communication via SCPI
- Test and validate the complete system
- Refine the hardware and firmware
