- At least 8 years of work experience in material and process development, characterization, and production of battery cells and components, focusing on Gen3 LiB’s, solid-state batteries, and next-gen energy storage
- Recognised expertise in chemistry, physics, materials science, or related fields, demonstrated through patents, publications, project leadership, and successful acquisition of research and industrial projects
- Broad international industrial network and accustomed to industry-oriented, application-driven environment
- Proven ability to lead and manage national and international research projects, ensuring high scientific standards and practical application
- Skilled in coordinating interdisciplinary teams, aligning contributions, and fostering collaboration across research and industry partners
- Experience in personnel development, including mentoring, recognising potential, and conducting development talks
- High initiative, commitment, and ability to work independently while integrating knowledge across domains
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- German language skills beneficial
