As a Human Factors Engineer, you will focus on enhancing user experience by conducting studies and analyzing data. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure usability standards are met and providing insights that shape product design.

Anforderungen

• •Minimum 3 years of HF/usability experience or equivalent relevant experience
• •Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
• •Knowledge of FDA, ISO, IEC, AAMI, and relevant usability standards
• •Strong knowledge of user-centered design practices
• •Experience coordinating with external consultancies for HF activities
• •Good technical writing skills
• •Ability to learn fast and take initiative
• •Passion for learning and understanding people's needs
• •Team spirit and collaborative work style
• •Confident speaking in front of others and moderating workshops
• •Valid EU or Austrian Work Permit
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• •Masters’ degree in Human Factors / Usability Engineering or related field
• •Experience developing software as a medical device or digital health products
• •Experience interacting with FDA and regulatory bodies
• •Knowledge of app development and graphical user interface design
• •Knowledge of the diabetes industry or comparable health industries

Aufgaben

• •Drive and coordinate human factors activities for mySugr
• •Run user studies to enhance user interfaces and experience
• •Minimize potential for use errors in mobile apps
• •Provide human factors input for risk management activities
• •Plan, document, and execute human factors activities across projects
• •Conduct ethnographic research and requirements definition research
• •Perform task analysis and use-related risk analysis
• •Execute usability studies and analyze market feedback
• •Analyze study data and perform root cause analysis
• •Write comprehensive study reports
• •Present design recommendations based on user feedback and data
• •Shape human factors processes to comply with usability standards
• •Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions
• •Review documentation and respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies
