HR Specialist(m/w/x)

As an HR Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR Operations team by managing employee records, overseeing payroll compliance, and driving process improvements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve ensuring data accuracy, coordinating with vendors, and addressing employee queries while adapting global HR practices to meet local needs.

Anforderungen
- •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
- •2+ years in HR operations in a global environment
- •Technical knowledge and experience with HRIS (Personio/ Workday/ SAP/ Peoplesoft/ HiBob), payroll systems, and data analytics tools
- •Strong understanding of HR compliance and audits at an international level, specifically on Portuguese labor law
- •Experience supporting HR operations, including Payroll, and understanding of Labour Laws from a European context
- •Demonstrated ability to manage HR projects and drive continuous improvement
- •Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; strong organizational and time management skills
- •Fluency in English; additional European languages such as Portuguese/ Czech/ Danish/ German are advantageous

- •Ensure high performance and clear communication within the HR Operations team
- •Support efficient and accurate data management
- •Identify gaps in HR Ops practices and suggest process enhancements
- •Manage the organizational HRIS, ensuring timely updates and data accuracy
- •Maintain employee records and process data updates
- •Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports for insights and decision-making
- •Oversee Portuguese payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws
- •Coordinate with finance for budget and headcount reporting
- •Support HR Ops Manager and VP of HR in vendor coordination
- •Ensure compliance with Portuguese employment and labor laws
- •Audit existing HR policies and processes for improvement opportunities
- •Conduct regular internal HR audits to identify risks and gaps
- •Stay updated on legislative changes and recommend necessary updates
- •Serve as the primary HR contact for Portuguese employees
- •Address employee queries and support local HR matters
- •Communicate HR policies, adapting global practices to local needs
- •Participate in and coordinate HR projects and system upgrades
- •Identify and implement process improvements and automation
- •Create and monitor HR metrics and KPIs
- •Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management
