You will lead a pioneering research team to build an innovative pet therapeutics portfolio, bridging the gap between human pharma insights and breakthrough animal health treatments.

Anforderungen

• •PhD in biology, veterinary medicine, medicine or comparable
• •Proven leadership and matrix collaboration skills
• •Extensive expertise in in vitro biology
• •Several years of Pharma/Biotech industry experience
• •Deep understanding of non-infectious disease pathophysiology
• •Excellent communication and matrix leadership skills
• •Fluency in English and basic German

Aufgaben

• •Provide scientific and disciplinary leadership to a diverse team of scientists
• •Establish and manage a new animal health innovation team
• •Develop a portfolio of therapeutic concepts for non-infectious diseases
• •Coordinate the translation from in vitro to in vivo with clinical teams
• •Collaborate with human pharma research to leverage innovation synergies
• •Identify breakthrough opportunities using emerging disease knowledge and modality advances
• •Integrate animal health initiatives into the local research matrix structure
• •Manage stakeholders and coordinate with global leadership functions
• •Shape the division's strategic development and future direction
• •Oversee HR-relevant topics and ensure adherence to local compliance requirements
• •Maintain EHS standards and electronic laboratory documentation
