Anforderungen

  • Field travel across Europe (excl. DACH) and APAC
  • 6+ years proven sales/business development success
  • Experience selling to universities or similar environments
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Strong customer facing communication skills
  • Additional languages welcome
  • Ability to engage, influence, and negotiate with senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel ~30%
  • Cultural awareness and experience working across Europe & APAC
  • 3+ years leadership experience (5+ direct reports)
  • Proven track record managing and developing teams
  • Curiosity and adaptability
  • Willingness to lead by example
  • Comfort supporting the team where needed
  • Strong understanding of new business and account management
  • Proficiency with CRM tools
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace Applications

Aufgaben

  • Understand market dynamics in Europe (excl. DACH) and APAC
  • Build perspective on university evaluation and buying processes
  • Partner with team on new opportunities and account renewals
  • Take on deals independently in the early stages
  • Improve pipeline quality and conversion rates
  • Generate and qualify new sales opportunities
  • Identify cross- and upsell opportunities for renewals
  • Define and implement scalable sales strategies
  • Translate learnings into best practices
  • Travel to understand customer needs and represent AMBOSS at events
  • Actively participate in critical deals
  • Co-own deal strategy, messaging, and negotiation
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Remove friction in sales processes
  • Enhance outbound strategy and pipeline generation
  • Deepen existing university partnerships
  • Unlock up- and cross-sell opportunities
  • Increase platform activation and usage with Customer Success
  • Lead and develop a team of 5-6 direct reports
  • Review pipelines and support deal unblocking
  • Foster a clear and motivating team culture
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, and career development
  • Expand B2B footprint in Europe and APAC
  • Align with founders and regional leadership
  • Build data-informed views of pipeline and performance
  • Increase overall company revenue through B2B sales
  • Ensure new opportunities do not compete with existing revenue streams
  • Provide market feedback for product evolution
  • Collaborate with sales leaders in other regions
  • Partner with Market Leadership and cross-functional teams
