- Undertake frequent international travel to asset sites for technical reviews, assurance visits, and performance deep-dives
Aufgaben
- Lead technical due diligence for mining, processing, smelting, and logistics assets
- Assess resources, reserves, and production capacity
- Evaluate operating reliability and cost structures
- Translate technical findings into commercial implications
- Evaluate project economics and market positioning
- Support investment decisions with technical expertise
- Conduct operational reviews for portfolio assets
- Assess turnaround potential and identify value-creation levers
- Partner with deal teams on transaction structuring
- Develop valuation scenarios and investment committee materials
- Support shareholder negotiations
- Manage external consultants and technical advisors
- Benchmark portfolio assets against industry peers
- Support the development of Value Creation Plans (VCPs)
- Provide technical and business input for budgeting
- Contribute to mine planning and operational improvement
- Establish project monitoring and reporting for the portfolio
- Track delivery, schedule, cost, quality, and compliance
- Provide management with progress updates
- Recommend corrective actions for deviations
- Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate
- Liaise with HSE, ESG, and compliance teams
- Ensure asset practices meet regulatory requirements
- Perform first-hand technical reviews at asset sites
- Conduct assurance visits and performance deep-dives
- Travel internationally to asset sites
