In this role, you will engage in designing and analyzing guidance, navigation, and control systems for innovative UAVs and spaceplanes. Your work will involve trajectory simulation, algorithm development, and hands-on testing to ensure cutting-edge performance in complex flight scenarios.

Anforderungen

• •Aerospace or mechanical engineering degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.)
• •Several years of professional or research experience in flight dynamics, GNC, or related fields
• •Strong background in flight control theory, trajectory optimization, dynamic system modeling and guidance methods
• •Strong programming skills (MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python) and modeling/simulation experience
• •Proficiency in English and German (spoken and written)
• •Ability to independently solve complex research and engineering problems
• •Excellent analytical skills and a creative, solution-oriented mindset
• •Proactive, motivated, flexible, and resilient, with strong teamwork and communication skills
• •Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment where innovation and ownership drive impact

Aufgaben

• •Design and analyze GNC subsystems for UAVs and spaceplanes
• •Simulate, optimize, and analyze trajectories for complex flight profiles
• •Develop nonlinear 6DOF flight dynamic models
• •Create mathematical models for aerodynamics, sensors, actuators, and propulsion
• •Design and code flight control algorithms, and conduct software/hardware-in-the-loop testing
• •Support the selection, integration, and verification of GNC sensors and components
• •Develop advanced guidance algorithms for automated UAVs
• •Participate in ground and flight test campaigns, including planning, execution, and data analysis
