- Develop and execute R&D strategy and resource planning
- Define and implement a design-to-cost strategy
- Optimize and expand global structures and processes
- Ensure local processes align with global standards
- Monitor research and development project progress
- Manage budgets and forecast to meet company targets
- Implement a self-financing cost center through development funds
- Coordinate and present strategic technology/product/system roadmaps
