- Proven medical device, life sciences, or medical translation experience
- Demonstrated experience as Language Lead, Quality Lead, or senior reviewer
- Strong knowledge of IFUs and medical device regulatory documentation
- Advanced CAT/TMS tool experience
- Proven terminology and translation memory management expertise
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Scientific curiosity and motivation to deepen product understanding
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Aufgaben
- Lead linguistic quality for German life sciences and medical device content
- Coordinate final linguistic quality of assigned projects
- Align external linguists with client-specific instructions and terminology
- Perform final QA and LSO validation of high-impact deliverables
- Review Instructions for Use for life sciences and diagnostic products
- Quality check technical documentation for laboratory instruments and reagents
- Review safety and labeling content
- Review technical data sheets and product specifications
- Develop and maintain terminology databases and style guides
- Run and maintain language assets like translation memories
- Monitor outsourced translations using CAT/TMS tools
- Ensure consistency across suppliers
- Analyze linguistic quality issues
- Implement continuous improvement plans with Project Management
- Perform occasional translation and revision tasks
- Implement client feedback
