Anforderungen
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in fund accounting, financial accounting, or audit
- Experience ideally within AIFM, asset manager, or audit/tax advisory firm
- Strong financial acumen
- Up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, or IFRS
- Completed commercial or accounting-related education
- Ideally professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
- Structured, solution-oriented working style
- Strong analytical skills
- Hands-on mentality
- Very good command of MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience with accounting or fund administration software is an advantage
- Excellent command of English
- Strong communication skills
- Team spirit
- Ability to work independently and proactively
Aufgaben
- Perform day-to-day accounting for closed-end funds
- Maintain investment ledgers and general ledger accounts
- Book capital calls and distributions
- Book management fees and fund expenses
- Manage accounts payable
- Support preparation of quarterly financial statements
- Support preparation of annual financial statements
- Prepare investor reporting
- Execute month-end closes
- Reconcile cash and investments
- Reconcile other balance sheet accounts
- Perform variance analyses
- Review transaction documentation
- Prepare transaction overview sheets
- Maintain organized fund accounting documentation
- Maintain complete fund accounting documentation
- Research and resolve discrepancies
- Resolve ad hoc issues
- Assist with regulatory filings
- Assist with investor reporting packages
- Contribute to process improvement
- Contribute to process automation
