Anforderungen
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable field
- PhD (advantageous)
- Very good knowledge of functional safety standards for automated driving functions, driver assistance systems, or similarly complex systems
- Several years of experience in functional safety processes within automotive industry, particularly as safety expert
- Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written)
- International experience (advantageous)
- Solid knowledge of series development processes, verification, and validation in automotive industry or comparable field
- High initiative, creativity, strong analytical skills, structured mindset, high sense of quality
- Proficiency with requirements and project tracking tools (Codebeamer, Jira, Confluence)
- Clear and confident communication of complex topics to engineering teams, management, and safety stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, structured mindset, high sense of quality
Aufgaben
- Shape the end-to-end Functional Safety (FuSa) approach
- Develop test strategies
- Deliver high-quality evidence for reviews, decisions, and audits
- Manage project schedules
- Manage project dependencies
- Manage work products
- Coordinate cross-team alignment
- Ensure FuSa evidence readiness for audits and milestones
- Partner with AD development, system engineering, SOTIF, integration, and notified bodies
- Develop safety concepts for automated driving functions, including Onboard Operator
- Apply and tailor safety assurance methods (ISO 26262, SOTIF, related standards)
- Evaluate supplier safety concepts and assurance artifacts
- Develop functional safety release processes for automated driving functions
- Perform and coordinate verification/validation for AD functions
- Provide FuSa release recommendations for AD systems (with/without Safety Driver)
- Commission and manage external service providers
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-brand departments
- Adapt validation and verification approaches for AD systems
- Ensure Safety work products align with milestones
- Ensure timely delivery of Safety work products
