- Report directly to the CTO
- Lead engineers focused on AI search
- Partner with Product and Design counterparts
- Shape the AI search experience strategy
- Translate ambiguous problems into technical direction
- Ground LLM responses in structured data
- Improve response quality and trustworthiness
- Tailor outputs to specific user intents
- Guide architectural decisions for LLM integration
- Manage retrieval systems and evaluation pipelines
- Ensure operational excellence and system reliability
- Oversee the internal frontend framework stack
- Collaborate with other search teams
- Remove roadblocks and facilitate team decisions
- Conduct regular 1:1s and growth conversations
- Coach and mentor team members
- Review performance and manage equitable compensation
- Promote continuous learning in AI engineering
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture
