- Completed studies or training with EHS focus
- Certification as a safety specialist (according to SFK-VO)
- Initial professional experience in an EHS function, ideally in an international environment
- Knowledge in occupational safety and relevant standards (ISO 45001, 14001) and ATEX
- Communication skills in German and English
- Ability to build relationships and influence internally and externally
- Additional training as waste/environment officer and/or hazardous materials officer
Aufgaben
- Serve as the EHS specialist for two locations
- Develop and maintain the EHS management system across Austria
- Coordinate with the European organization for ISO certification
- Manage EHS compliance programs to ensure legal adherence
- Advise the company on legislative changes affecting operations
- Create and maintain ATEX compliance and emergency plans
- Develop mandatory EHS training materials
- Participate in and facilitate safety committee meetings
- Enhance and implement safety programs for the locations
