As an EHS Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe workplace by implementing EHS policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role involves training employees, managing audits, and optimizing safety systems to protect both people and the environment.

Anforderungen

• •Training as a certified Safety Specialist or degree in engineering with specialization in safety
• •Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in occupational safety or industrial environments
• •Strong knowledge of applicable safety regulations and standards
• •Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• •Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• •Fluency in German and English – both written and spoken
• •First Aid certification is a plus

Aufgaben

• •Fulfill legal duties as EHS responsible
• •Act as a safety specialist in line with ASiG requirements
• •Monitor permit requirements and ensure legal obligations are met
• •Support client EHS audits and follow up on action plans
• •Conduct risk analyses for work activities and machinery
• •Perform safety assessments for processes and plants
• •Analyze health-related data such as chemical exposure and noise
• •Identify and reduce potential EHS risks
• •Study workplace accidents and health risks
• •Manage and optimize the EHS management system
• •Develop EHS-related SOPs based on management system
• •Implement EHS procedures aligned with corporate objectives
• •Facilitate internal and external audits for certification
• •Stay current with evolving EHS requirements and update procedures
• •Lead safety and environmental projects in compliance with regulations
• •Implement EHS policies and procedures across the site
• •Supervise commissioning of new equipment for safety compliance
• •Oversee waste management and hazardous substances database
• •Promote safe behavior through training and site walkthroughs
• •Deliver health and safety training sessions
• •Participate in the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work
• •Serve as a contact for occupational health and safety
• •Provide technical support for hazardous substance control
• •Ensure site security aligns with campus standards
• •Maintain collaboration and reporting with the TE EHS team
