- AI coding tools as a user (including agentic usage)
- Management of AI coding solutions (plus)
- Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) (plus)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proactive mindset to identify challenges and drive solutions
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Strong commitment to user satisfaction
- Actively seeking feedback and collaborating with users
- Container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift etc.)
- Git, CI/CD tools, test and deployment automation
- SQL/PostgreSQL knowledge
- Programming in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Python, or GoLang
- Linux system administration, Bash scripting
- Profiling and metrics analysis
- Spoken and written English
- Commitment to learn French
- National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Maximum of two years professional experience since graduation
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software or Computer Engineering (or related field)
- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before
- University degree required
- PhD not eligible

- Contribute to GitLab service operation and maintenance
- Identify and implement service improvements
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD integration
- Listen to and address user needs and issues
- Provide expert guidance on GitLab best practices
- Support CERN developers with AI coding tools
- Follow technology and product advancements in AI coding
