Aufgaben
- Handle trademark oppositions, observations, and cancellations
- Review daily watch notices for potential infringements
- Assess potential infringements to determine effective legal actions
- Manage counterfeit matters, including fakes and parallel imports
- Handle customs seizures and related court litigation
- Prevent unauthorized use of the brand in the market
- Handle smaller unfair competition matters independently
- Support Head of Regional IP Brand Enforcement on larger cases
- Draft and file cease and desist letters, oppositions, and cancellations
- Obtain injunctions, customs actions, and other enforcement measures
- Collaborate with outside counsel on legal drafts and recommendations
- Review and amend legal documents for high-quality outcomes
- Implement brand enforcement and anti-counterfeit strategies
- Develop and execute non-use cancellation strategies
- Maintain tracking and best practice lists
- Supervise paralegal support and case record accuracy
- Ensure accurate case records in the database
