- Strong accounting and ledger foundation, confident with double-entry, bank flows, clearing accounts, balancing logic, and cut-offs
- High accuracy, audit-ready documentation, detail-oriented, dependable, and consistent evidence quality
- End-to-end payment flow understanding from initiation to booking and reconciliation
- Ownership and collaboration mindset, reliability in daily critical processes, structured execution, comfortable translating operational needs to Product/Engineering, and driving continuous improvement
Aufgaben
- Investigate discrepancies promptly
- Document investigation steps and rationale
- Resolve root causes of discrepancies
- Help build preventative measures
- Prepare daily payments
- Perform checks and controls on payments
- Manage payment release and approval steps
- Maintain correct end-to-end payment routing
- Monitor payment statuses
- Resolve rejected, returned, or failed payments
- Track and follow through on payment exceptions
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Investigate reconciliation breaks
- Drive root-cause fixes for reconciliation issues
- Ensure ledger-accurate double-entry postings
- Perform and validate bank-related bookings
- Maintain traceability of bank-related bookings
- Improve processes and controls
- Strengthen SOPs, checklists, and evidence standards
- Optimize process handovers
- Partner with Product/Engineering on tooling improvements
- Translate operational needs into system enhancements
