- Ability to work independently and manage a team
- Aircraft Maintenance License (EASA B1, B2) with 5 years signing off experience (Bombardier types preferred)
- College/Diploma or equivalent academic qualification
- Minimum 8 years aviation experience, 5 years license experience with approvals
- Minimum 2 years leadership/supervisor experience in aircraft maintenance
- Thorough working knowledge of EASA, FAA, CAAS, and Asian NAA requirements
- Verbal and interpersonal skills for effective working relationships
- Planning and organizational skills for workload coordination
- Leadership skills for decision-making, training, mentoring, and coordination
- Working knowledge of process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma)
- Working knowledge of Risk Management Standards and applications
- Working knowledge of Work Health & Safety and Environmental requirements
- Working knowledge of Maintenance field best practices
- Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, web-based applications)
- Working knowledge of SAP maintenance transactions or similar ERP
- Leadership or Supervisory training/qualifications
- Fluent English oral and written skills
- Readiness to travel if necessary

- Oversee daily activities in assigned functional areas.
- Perform work on aircraft or components.
- Supervise work on aircraft or components.
- Promote open communication with departments.
- Ensure quality assurance and control on work.
- Meet customer requirements for work performed.
- Comply with Bombardier policies and procedures.
- Comply with Aviation Authority regulations.
- Research and support Planning for project schedules.
- Research and support Planning for parts ordering.
- Ensure parts availability for scheduled deliveries.
- Track project progress to maintain budgetary control.
- Highlight concerns to Project Manager to prevent overruns.
- Ensure accurate timekeeping by direct reports.
- Ensure work complies with technical data and procedures.
- Ensure work packs are followed.
- Ensure work packs are filled with necessary information.
- Ensure work packs are progressively signed off.
