As an Aircraft Mechanic 2 specializing in LUH-72 systems, you will engage in a variety of maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting malfunctions and directing assembly processes, to ensure the aircraft operates at peak performance.

Anforderungen

• •High School Graduate or equivalent
• •Airbus Lakota LUH-72 / EC-145 School Training preferred
• •Two years aviation maintenance experience
• •Three years rotary wing/helicopter aircraft hands-on mechanic experience
• •Two years on the assigned MDS Airbus Lakota (LUH-72)
• •Possess a valid FAA A&P license
• •Candidate must provide own tools
• •Obtain and maintain a T1/CAC NACI US Government Clearance
• •US Citizenship required to obtain T1/CAC NACI Clearance
• •Interim NACI approval required for deployment
• •Valid US Passport required
• •Ability to climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch
• •Frequently lift parts and equipment up to 20 pounds
• •Occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds
• •Immediately deployable to potential combat areas worldwide
• •Experience with civil or commercial aviation forms, records, tech manuals
• •Strong working knowledge of FAR’s 43 and 91
• •Good communication skills
• •Adaptability and troubleshooting skills
• •Working knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical systems principles
• •Knowledge of Quality Control, Production and Supply procedures

Aufgaben

• •Perform maintenance and inspections on LUH-72 systems
• •Execute repair functions on Army and DoD cross-service aircraft
• •Install and adjust fuel, heat, lubrication, hydraulic, engine, and transmission systems
• •Align fuselage parts and install tail rotor assemblies
• •Rig complete flight control systems
• •Incorporate authorized modifications and changes
• •Conduct operational checks of hydraulic and fuel systems
• •Inspect and troubleshoot malfunctions
• •Disassemble components to identify issues
• •Adjust, repair, realign, or replace defective components
• •Use common hand tools and measuring devices effectively
• •Determine repair needs for faulty systems or assemblies
• •Read and interpret technical data accurately
• •Direct lower-graded mechanics in assembly and modification tasks
• •Coordinate with general mechanics and sheet metal trades
• •Prepare maintenance forms and records
• •Perform additional duties as required
