In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative implant and instrument systems. Your work will involve everything from modeling designs in CAD to interfacing with clinical advisors, ensuring that products meet both user needs and manufacturing standards.

Anforderungen

• •Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
• •Understanding of design controls within a regulated industry
• •Fluency in English; German language skills appreciated
• •Prior work experience/internships in the medical device industry
• •Minimum of 2-3 years of product or process design experience for Senior Project Engineer Position
• •Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives from concept through release
• •Experience with a parametric CAD design package, Creo preferred

Aufgaben

• •Work on cross-functional design teams
• •Plan and develop new implant and instrument systems for upper extremities
• •Address design issues and maintain existing products
• •Advance assigned projects through the design development phase until launch
• •Interface with clinical advisors for design input and product evaluation
• •Model and detail implant and instrumentation designs using CAD software
• •Develop prototypes for design verification and validation
• •Create drawings for new product designs in collaboration with production experts
• •Ensure designs adhere to manufacturing principles
• •Utilize and manage Design Control within an Agile Project Management Framework
• •Write technical reports
